Vassia Kalantzi

My journey in design started with studies in interior design at AKTO Art & Design College, followed by a Master’s degree in Interior Design from Middlesex University. Since then, I’ve spent over 25 years working at the intersection of media, design, and communication.

I started my career in publishing, where I grew into leadership roles within major media groups such as TCT Media Group and Attica Publishing Group. Over the years, I worked as Advertising Director and Category Manager for leading lifestyle and design magazines such as Maison Decoration, Casa Viva, Maison Madame Figaro – Votre Beauté Maison, Idees kai Liseis. During my experience in Attica Publishing Group, since a big percentage was owned by Gruppo Mondadori, I was Key Account Manager for all the high-end Italian furniture brands that were collaborating with our publishing magazines. 

”A remarkable memory from my experience during my years as a project manager for Maison Madame Figaro Club for Greece, were the 4 events per year (each for every season of the year) that we organised and we were able to combine design, lifestyle, furniture brands and have the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas with our guests. Since 2017, I’ve been working as a Brand Ambassador and PR Consultant, representing distinguished Italian furniture companies such as Pedrali and Dienne Salotti. As the founder of KAL Agents, I focus on bringing authentic Italian design and craftsmanship closer to the Greek market.

I regularly attend Salone del Mobile in Milan, staying closely connected to the evolution of design. Fluent in English and Italian, I draw inspiration from both cultures, as well as from my ongoing passion for fashion, art, design and travel!

All these 25 years working in media, lifestyle magazines, fashion magazines, design magazines, radio stations and event organizer, shaped my understanding of aesthetics, branding, and the power of communication.

Themis Caldarozzi

My journey started with my studies in Public Administration at Panteion University, after which I developed a long-standing career in the tourism sector, gaining valuable experience in both Greece and Italy. These years shaped my professional perspective and deepened my understanding of international markets and client relations. I hold certifications in English and French, while my fluency in Italian stems from my paternal heritage, which has strongly influenced my cultural and professional outlook.

In 2020, following a period of independent professional development, a meaningful opportunity arose. As the Greek market evolved and the need for expansion of Ms. Kalantzi’s office became evident, we decided to join forces. By bringing together our diverse expertise, experience, and generational viewpoints, we laid the foundation for what would become KAL agents.

Our journey started with the representation of Pedrali, and was further strengthened with the addition of Dienne Salotti to our portfolio. Today, KAL agents continue to grow steadily and thoughtfully, guided by a shared vision, strong partnerships, and a commitment to long-term development.

Based in Athens, our agency has built a strong presence in the Greek market through years of dedicated activity and relationship-driven growth. Over time, we have developed an extensive network that includes interior designers, architectural firms, furniture wholesalers and retailers, as well as hotel owners across Greece.
